Donatus Anusionwu is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Investments at HarbourView Equity Partners, where he leads the firm's non-music investment strategy across film, television, sports, and digital media. His mandate spans private equity and structured solutions built around premium intellectual property, from library and participation-rights acquisitions to slate co-financing, growth equity, and preferred structures for content owners and producers.
Donatus's work centers on the ownership and monetization of premium intellectual property. He oversees the underwriting, valuation, and portfolio management of the firm's non-music holdings, with a focus on identifying uncorrelated, cash-flowing assets and pairing them with capital structures that unlock value for both the firm's investors and its creative partners. He draws on nearly two decades of experience across capital structure advisory, structured credit execution, and private capital origination.
Prior to HarbourView, Donatus held roles at Morgan Stanley, where he specialized in alternative capital solutions including debt and equity private placements, and at J.P. Morgan, where he was a Vice President in TMT Corporate & Investment Banking.
Donatus received a B.S. in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA with concentrations in Corporate Finance and Financial Accounting from Columbia Business School. Donatus is a U.S. Army combat veteran decorated with the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service while deployed to Ar Ramadi, Iraq. He also serves on the CUNY School of Professional Studies Foundation Board.
