Whitney-Gayle has over 20 years of experience working in the music industry, across sectors as diverse as media, technology, and recorded music. Prior to joining JKBX as Chief Music Officer, she was the Global Head of Artist & Talent Relations for Spotify, where she amplified creator experiences on and off platform for initiatives including tentpole events and studio activations. Additionally, Whitney has spent time at Facebook, Def Jam Recordings, and in 2013 she helped launch Diddy’s Revolt TV and Media network. As a true music and television enthusiast, Whitney bridged the gap between her loves when she joined MTV News, where she helped Jay-Z earn recognition from the United Nations for his efforts to bring clean water to underdeveloped areas of Africa. Whitney is also a proud Spelman College graduate and currently resides in Harlem with her family.
